Take To The Skies And Explore Limbo
The adventure begins with a distress call from Uncle Lou. Unfortunately, by the time you reach the Limbo archipelago, your uncle has vanished and the islands have been left in a bit of a state.
That leaves you with two jobs. The first is to find out exactly what happened to Lou. The second is to help the communities scattered across the islands get themselves back on their feet.
Your seaplane is central to that journey, allowing you to travel between locations and enjoy the freedom of the open skies. There are even ring challenges to take on, giving your flying skills a chance to shine.
But Limbo is about much more than simply getting from A to B. Each island has its own personality, residents and problems, with places such as Tangle Bloom, Gleam Reef and Boulderia offering plenty to discover.
A Swirler, Some Scrap And A Lot Of Helping Out
Life on the islands is made considerably easier thanks to the Swirler, a multi-tool that can hoover up everything from scrap and plants to materials dropped by the local wildlife. Those resources can then be put to good use. Buildings need restoring, goods need crafting and the communities of Limbo need a helping hand.
As the adventure progresses, gadgets can be upgraded too, opening up more opportunities to scoop, build, glide, fish and generally make yourself useful around the archipelago.
Of course, helping everyone else is only part of the experience. Lou’s Lagoon also gives players their own island base to shape.
