There’s going to be all sorts of monsters and challenges awaiting you in this H.P. Lovecraft inspired game.
In Lovecraft’s Untold Stories, you can play as five different characters, each possessing their own playstyle and storyline. There’s the Detective, an all-rounder; a ranged combat specialist with less health, the Professor; the Witch, who can deal lots of damage and can teleport; the stealthy melee-focussed Thief; and the Ghoul, ideal for handing out melee damage and taking plenty of hits. Every character will go through an investigation that will take them through different locations, from the creepy old Victorian mansion to the abandoned hospital where forbidden experiments take place and even the jungle where lost tribes celebrate forgotten rituals, to name just a few.
The levels are randomly generated too, so when you throw in the hundreds of different monsters to fight from the Cthulhu Mythos, it will be a different experience every time you play. Insanity crawls behind every corner for those who face off against these monsters though and in your investigations, you will come up against different situations where you have to choose what to do; make the wrong decision and you will start losing your mind. In order to take on the Great Old Ones, you need knowledge, and to find it you have to explore!
