Enzo Finds Himself Working With Salieri
Set during Enzo’s early days as a made man, Man of Honor sees him continue proving himself as a reliable soldier for the Torrisi family.
Alongside Cesare, Enzo is given the task of assisting Ennio Salieri, who has recently walked free from prison and is determined to reclaim what he believes is rightfully his. What starts as a straightforward assignment soon pulls Enzo deeper into the volatile underworld of the Valle Dorata.
The expansion adds two new story chapters, with Enzo working alongside Salieri as they seek revenge against those who crossed him before turning their attention towards a potentially life-changing score.
For a game that puts so much emphasis on its cinematic crime story, another look at Enzo’s early days inside the family should be a welcome excuse to return to Sicily.
More Reasons To Explore Free Ride
The new story isn’t the only addition. Man of Honor also gives Free Ride a fresh batch of activities, with Salieri offering exclusive jobs and challenges.
Salieri’s Challenges include combat encounters, stealth assassinations and car races, while his Jobs allow players to choose how they want to approach their objectives. These include searching for hidden caches, transporting valuable vehicles and stealing trucks filled with precious cargo.
There are also new Wanted Posters, Stunt Jumps and destructible Sulfur Trucks to discover, giving players more reasons to explore rather than simply rushing from one objective to the next.
New Gear For Enzo
it goes without saying, but a new Mafia expansion wouldn’t be complete without some fresh equipment.
Man of Honor adds three guns, three knives, five Charms, three vehicles, two horses, three outfits and five hats. There are also new Achievements to hunt down, giving completionists another reason to explore everything the expansion has to offer.
It all adds up to a solid selection of new content, particularly for players who have already spent plenty of time roaming the game’s Sicilian countryside.
A Welcome Return To The Old Country
We awarded Mafia: The Old Country 4/5 in our review, praising its visuals, set pieces and immersive journey while noting that we would have liked more side missions and opportunities to explore its world.
Man of Honor certainly brings more activity to the table. Alongside its two new story chapters, the additional Free Ride jobs and challenges offer more ways to spend time in the world, while the new equipment gives Enzo plenty of fresh toys to play with.
And with Salieri at the centre of the expansion, there’s an intriguing connection to the wider Mafia universe for fans to enjoy.
Enzo’s Story Isn’t Finished Yet
Between the new story chapters, Salieri’s jobs, additional challenges and a collection of new gear, there’s plenty here for anyone who isn’t quite ready to leave Enzo and the Torrisi family behind.
In the Mafia, loyalty comes at a price. For Enzo, that price is apparently going up.
