Dream Park Story
Dream Park Story – now on Xbox

Kairosoft are the undisputed GOATs of retro simulation games, with their catalogue ranging from theatre productions, to becoming a boxing legend

Now, it’s time to take things into the realm of theme parks, as Dream Park Story lets you live out your wildest fantasies as the creator of the world’s greatest rollercoaster romp!

Brimming with Nostalgia

Immediately bringing to mind the old school RollerCoaster Tycoon releases, Dream Park Story is the latest in a long line of Kairosoft productions.

It’s now available on Xbox consoles, alongside prior releases on PlayStation, Switch and PC.

Here, the Kairosoft team brings their signature retro charm to a theme park city-builder, asking you to develop a theme park that any customer from across the globe would like to attend.

Not only do you of course need to sink investment into rollercoaster R&D, before obviously building the damn thing, but credence must also be given to the hiring of mascots, the development of special events to draw in a throng of customers, and the expansion of your land as soon as things become a little bit too crowded.

A key draw of Dream Park Story is the promise of special themed areas, unlocked once you scout a particular mascot. After gaining access to the likes of the Space Zone, Desert Zone, and Snow Zone, expect to see your customers gleam with excitement, and your revenues to go shooting through the roof!

Key Features

  • Create and customize your own amusement park – from humble attractions like the teacup ride or trampolines, you’ll be able to build up to bigger and better things. You can even hire mascots and hold fantastic parades!
  • What do your visitors like best? How can you improve? – there’s no better place to check up-to-the-minute feedback than the park’s social media. Work hard, and you might attract the attention of famous online influencers!
  • Running out of space to build new rides? No problem! – just call your friendly neighborhood construction company to expand the park grounds. Soon you’ll be setting up Ferris wheels, roller coasters, and other large-scale attractions to catch the eyes of prospective customers passing by.
  • Don’t forget about mascots – these cute and quirky characters are the first things people will think of when they talk about your park! You’ll be able to scout a new mascot every year. Signing one will give you access to special themed areas, like the Space Zone, Snow Zone, and Desert Zone. Keep increasing your popularity and delight your visitors with spectacular parades!
  • The more impressed your visitors are, the more points you’ll earn – these can be used to research new attractions and fixtures or add new functions to existing ones. Give your fans an experience they’ll never forget and work your way up through the rankings!

Available Now!

Dream Park Story can now be purchased on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC. Over on the Xbox Store, the game will cost you ÂŁ11.74.

I'm an avid gamer who will play pretty much anything... but stick an open world or adventure game in front of me and I'm more than happy.
