Hang around long enough in the video game YouTube space and, after trawling through the overly loud Twitch streamers and swathes of Fortnite players, you may come across Game Maker’s Toolkit. A channel dedicated to the intricacies of video game development, Mark Brown (the name behind the channel) has decided to give developing a go himself, with Mind Over Magnet!

Following nearly a year of being available only on PC, and with nearly a thousand ‘Very Positive’ reviews on Steam, now is the time for the colourful puzzle title Mind Over Magnet to make its way over to the console space.
Now available on Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, Mind Over Magnet features over 40 levels of puzzle platforming, all centred around the use of magnets in order to get around, open up switches, and move platforms into place such that your adorable robot character can reach the end of the level.
The inclusion of multiple different magnet types – from a standard magnet that you can hold on to and fly through the air with, to a magnet that you can switch the polarity of on the fly – ensures that no two puzzles are even remotely alike.
From there, the opportunity for unique puzzles are truly endless, so you can be sure that the dozens on offer here have been painstakingly well-crafted.
