Marvel Rivals White Fox – hitting in Season 7

The ever-evolving chaos of Marvel Rivals continues to build momentum, and with Season 7: The Hunt Is On, things are about to get even more intense.

Available today as a free update across Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC, the latest season introduces a brand-new hero, fresh systems, new cosmetics and a map arriving shortly after launch.

Headlining it all is the arrival of White Fox – a character who brings both mysticism and tactical flexibility to the battlefield, further expanding a roster that’s already packed with fan-favourite heroes and villains.

At A Glance

  • Game: Marvel Rivals (Free-To-Play)
  • Season: Season 7 – The Hunt Is On
  • Platforms: Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC
  • Launch Date: March 20th, 2026
  • New Hero: White Fox (Strategist)
  • New Map: Lower Manhattan (arrives April 2nd)
  • New Features: Album System, cosmetics, emotes and quality-of-life updates

White Fox Joins The Fight

The biggest addition in Season 7 is the arrival of White Fox, stepping into the Strategist role with a unique blend of support and disruption abilities.

Drawing power from her Kumiho (nine-tailed fox) heritage, White Fox can:

  • Heal allies while damaging enemies using mystical fox marbles
  • Store and unleash energy to buff teammates
  • Charm opponents and disrupt combat flow

This dual-purpose toolkit makes her a flexible pick for players who prefer to balance offence and support, particularly in the fast-paced 6v6 battles that define Marvel Rivals.

A New Battlefield – Lower Manhattan

Season 7 doesn’t stop at a new hero. A brand-new convergence map set in Lower Manhattan is scheduled to arrive on April 2nd, bringing another destructible arena into the mix.

Given Marvel Rivals’ focus on environmental destruction and shifting battle conditions, a New York setting feels like a natural fit. Expect tight streets, verticality and plenty of opportunities to reshape the battlefield mid-fight.

New Features And Social Systems

One of the more interesting additions this season is the introduction of the Album System.

This allows players to:

  • Save their best in-game moments from Times Square
  • Build a personal gallery of screenshots
  • Share images with other players and earn likes

Limited-Time Rewards And Events

Season 7 also brings a variety of limited-time rewards and playful additions.

To celebrate April Fool’s, players can log in between April 1st and April 3rd to unlock a special Deadpool and Jeff duo emote, adding a bit of humour to the battlefield. Using the emote in Times Square can also earn additional rewards.

Alongside this, a wave of new accessories arrives for multiple heroes including:

  • Iron Fist
  • Hawkeye
  • Mister Fantastic
  • Venom
  • Hulk
  • Ultron
  • Adam Warlock

There’s also a new initiative offering verified college students access to rotating costumes and MVP content, adding another layer of progression for eligible players.

Building On A Strong Foundation

Following the explosive additions seen in Season 6, Season 7 continues to push Marvel Rivals forward with meaningful content drops and community-focused features.

In our review, we said: “Marvel Rivals is a blast… an incredibly diversified hero shooter experience.”

That sense of variety is only growing, with each season adding new layers to both gameplay and player expression.

With a new hero, an incoming map and a host of fresh systems, Season 7: The Hunt Is On ensures Marvel Rivals remains one of the most exciting free-to-play shooters on the market right now.

Whether you’re jumping in for the first time or returning to master a new hero, there’s plenty here to keep you locked into the action. And with White Fox now in the mix, the hunt has only just begun.

Find Marvel Rivals on the Xbox Store. It’s also on PlayStation and PC.
