If you put Marvel and Capcom together in one big mash up, chances are you’re going to find something rather special inside. That is exactly what we hope to find when Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite arrives in 2017.
Confirmed today, the return of the action fighting series will see Marvel and Capcom universes collide like never before as we get hit with some action packed player vs player combat. Coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC, Infinite will release in late 2017.
Marvel vs Capcom Infinite is being created to highlight a combination of iconic and fan favourite characters and stages from both universes, including Captain Marvel and Iron Man from the Marvel side, and Ryu and Mega Man X from Capcom. Whilst more characters, stages, modes and features will be revealed in the coming months, what we do know is that it’ll come with both exciting single player modes and a rich multiplayer option that will suit both newcomers and veterans alike. In addition to single player Arcade, Training, and Mission modes, a visually stunning and immersive cinematic Story Mode will put players at the centre of both universes as they battle for survival against a sinister new threat.

We’re raising the bar with Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite and are excited for players to get their hands on it next year.”

Whilst Infinite is most definitely the headline act, in order to get us prepared, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is being re-released for current generation systems with Xbox One® and Windows PC versions coming in March 2017. PS4 owners can grab their digital download from today. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will feature an all new gallery mode, all previous DLC and the usual visual upgrades that we have now come to expect.
