Finding Frankie – now on Xbox and PlayStation

Get ready for a game show where survival is the grand prize in Finding Frankie on Xbox Series X|S and PS5.

An adrenaline-pumping, twisted fusion of Five Nights at Freddy’s style mascot horror and Fall Guys inspired parkour, has officially launched on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Developed by SUPERLOU and published by PERP GAMES, Finding Frankie brings its unique brand of terror and traversal to consoles after becoming a smash hit on PC in late 2024.

We first caught wind of this delightfully disturbing concept back in January when the console ports were announced, and the premise remains deliciously creepy.

You’ve found one of three secret invitations hidden in a cereal box, granting you entry into what seems like a fun parkour game show. However, things quickly take a deadly turn as the host, Frankie, and his pals like Henry Hotline reveal their truly sinister natures.

Run, Jump, Swing, Survive

Finding Frankie pits you against two other contestants in a terrifying competition. You’ll need to master a variety of parkour mechanics – bar swinging, wall jumping, rail grinding, trampoline hopping, and more – to navigate intricate obstacle courses spread across the expansive Frankie’s Parkour Palace.

This includes everything from indoor trampoline parks to dark, labyrinthine tunnels beneath the building.

But you’re not just racing; you’re being hunted. You’ll need to use stealth and speed to avoid Frankie, Henry Hotline, and other horrifying characters who are actively trying to eliminate the contestants. Luckily, you have a versatile companion: the adorable (and surprisingly useful) Deputy Duck, equipped with flashing lights and a scanning radar.

A Winning Formula? We Think So!

The unique blend of genres in Finding Frankie really impressed us. We gave the game a strong 4/5 in our full review, praising its successful differentiation within the increasingly crowded mascot horror genre: “Another day, another mascot horror game releases on Xbox. The efforts that Finding Frankie has gone to in order to differentiate itself from others works very well. The parkouring takes a few goes to get used to but it quickly snaps into place and feels great… if you’re a fan of these mascot horror games that keep popping up, Finding Frankie will be another to add to your list.

In fact, we were so taken with its unique premise and execution that we included Finding Frankie in our feature highlighting the Best Xbox and Game Pass Games for April 2025.

Can You Survive Frankie’s Show?

You won’t be able to play this one on Xbox One.

If you’re looking for a unique horror experience that will test your reflexes as much as your nerves, it’s time to find Frankie!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
