In TRON: Catalyst, players take on the role of Exo, a highly resilient and resourceful program working as a courier in the Arq Grid. Exo’s life is turned upside down when a mysterious package explodes, granting our hero exceptional powers beyond any program’s normal function – the ability to perceive and manipulate a “Glitch” in the system.
With the Arq Grid’s ruthless ‘peacekeepers’ and a malevolent agent named Conn in hot pursuit, you must race to uncover the grid’s mysteries and learn what kind of hero it needs you to become.

The core of TRON: Catalyst’s unique gameplay is the Glitch. The Arq Grid is losing stability, catching the world in a series of system-level time loops that only you can see. You must utilise Exo’s unique ability to rewind time to learn from your mistakes, navigate warring factions, and uncover secret areas and shortcuts. But escape will not be enough – you must break the loop.
Iconic TRON Combat
This isn’t just a puzzle game. You’ll battle legions of fearsome enemy programs in dynamic melee and ranged combat, both on-foot and while riding the iconic Light Cycle. You’ll need to master advanced techniques like parrying and powerful Disc Kicks to gain the upper hand. As you explore the Arq Grid, you can collect Data Shards to upgrade Exo’s code base with a variety of new and powerful abilities.

The project was exciting then and it’s exciting now, largely thanks to the developer at the helm. Bithell Games has a phenomenal reputation for narrative design, having created beloved titles like Thomas Was Alone.
