Mixing medieval kingdom management with narrative-driven RPG elements, Yes, Your Grace will be coming to console and PC in 2020. And today No More Robots and Brave at Night have delivered the first details.
With No More Robots (they of Descenders and Nowhere Prophet fame) behind the publishing side of matters, and development handled by the team at Brave at Night, Yes, Your Grace looks to be a pretty intriguing prospect, particularly when you take into mind the fact it has been inspired by Slavic folklore.
Telling the tale of a medieval kingdom, one in which monsters and arcane practices are just a typical day at the office, Yes, Your Grace sees you playing out matters as the King of the land, tasked with talking your villagers through their various problems and holding back a variety of monsters from attacking the village.
And it will be these problems which will see your time as King become a testing one, with some of the decision making issues bringing humour to your throne room, while others will present some much more difficult choices. The thing is, your family is important too, and throughout your time as King, you will have to support them in their struggles.
Launching early 2020, Yes, Your Grace will task players with:
• Listening to petitioners each turn and decide who needs your support
• Aiding your family with their personal problems and decide upon their fate
• Hiring Generals, Witches and Hunters to aid your efforts
• Making alliances by satisfying the whims of lords and kings
• Following the stories of the quirky, determined characters that visit your halls
If you’re interested by what Yes, Your Grace promises then you will no doubt be excited to hear that No More Robots and Brave at Night will be running a public beta for Yes, Your Grace. Due to run in November, this will give players their first taste of the world of Davern. All you’ll need to do is simply sign up at the Yes, Your Grace Discord and follow the instructions to secure a Steam key for the upcoming beta.
If that’s not for you, but you are attending EGX in London in a couple of weeks, then make sure you hunt down Yes, Your Grace there.
