Another fresh trailer has emerged from Middle-earth (actually it’s from Warner Bro.) giving further insight into the story. Details about the voiceover cast have been revealed too…
We’ll get to the cast in a moment; firstly the trailer offers more information on the task at hand for Talion. The key to his success appears to be the ability to master those new found super powers in a way that will manipulate others into helping him complete the ultimate goal. What is interesting is the fact you’ll be able to gain an entire army to fight by your side which could certainly swing battles into your favour.
It wouldn’t be story without music to accompany the moods of situations or characters to set the tone of a scene, hence a decent cast is needed on all fronts. The mastermind behind the BAFTA winning Bioshock Infinite soundtrack, Mr Garry Schyman will be composing for the world of Mordor. Most notably in the cast list is Nolan North who has voiced Deadpool numerous times, Nathan Drake (Uncharted) and The Penguin (Arkham series). That by no means discredits the rest of the cast who we are pleased to see are part of this list–
- Troy Baker – Talion (The Last of Us, Batman: Arkham Origins, BioShock Infinite, Batman: Arkham City)
- Nolan North – Black Hand (Uncharted series, Batman: Arkham Origins)
- Alastair Duncan – Wraith (Mass Effect series, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception)
- Laura Bailey – Ioreth (Halo 4, Batman: Arkham Origins, The Last of Us)
- Liam O’Brien – Gollum (Infamous: Second Son, Grand Theft Auto V, The Last of Us)
Don’t forget Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will be released worldwide on 7th October 2014 for Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
