If you’re in the mood for something light, relaxing, and easy to pick up, Mini Golf Quest is now available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, bringing a cheerful take on miniature golf to consoles for just £2.49.

Built around simple mechanics and colourful low-poly environments, Mini Golf Quest aims to deliver a calm, accessible putting experience where precision matters just as much as patience. Whether you’re chasing the perfect under-par run or simply enjoying the journey across its handcrafted courses, this is mini golf at its most laid-back.

A Relaxed Approach To Miniature Golf

Mini Golf Quest focuses on delivering straightforward putting gameplay across a selection of imaginative courses. Expect winding fairways, tight angles, and obstacles designed to test both timing and accuracy.

Each level leans into a calm, almost puzzle-like rhythm. You’ll need to go lining up shots, judging power carefully, and learning from mistakes. It’s the kind of experience that doesn’t rush you, instead encouraging experimentation and steady improvement as you work toward better scores.

The low-poly art style helps reinforce that relaxed tone, with bright environments and simple geometry creating a playful atmosphere across every course.

Precision, Patience, And A Bit Of Planning

While Mini Golf Quest is clearly designed to be accessible to players of all ages, there’s still a satisfying challenge to mastering each hole. Angled surfaces, awkward turns, and carefully placed obstacles mean success often comes down to planning the perfect shot.

The structure feels ideal for quick sessions. Jump in, complete a few holes, and try to beat your previous score.

Another Swing At Xbox Mini Golf

Aside from the brilliant Golf With Your Friends, mini golf titles can be surprisingly difficult to get right, something we saw firsthand with Pure Mini Golf, which scored 2/5 in our review. As we said at the time:

“A low asking price helps, and you may feel it’s worth a play for some easy achievements and Gamerscore, but Pure Mini Golf is far from a competitor in the world of virtual crazy golf.”

Mini Golf Quest looks to deliver a smoother, more polished take on the idea, focusing on clean visuals, straightforward mechanics, and satisfying course design.

Whether it can become a go-to casual golf experience on Xbox remains to be seen, but the price point makes it an easy one to try.

A Small Adventure On The Fairway

Mini Golf Quest doesn’t try to reinvent mini golf, but instead it leans into simplicity and charm. With colourful courses, approachable gameplay, and short-session appeal, it could be the kind of game you dip into whenever you want something calm and satisfying.

Mini Golf Quest is available now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S for ÂŁ2.49. You’ll find the usual download available from the Xbox Store.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
