Misblood keeps its premise wonderfully straightforward. There are 25 contracts waiting in the city, and each one involves reaching an address and eliminating everyone standing between you and the objective.
The catch is that you’re almost always outnumbered. Death can arrive quickly, but so can the restart, encouraging you to rethink your approach and try again rather than spend hours recovering from a failed attempt.
That makes each mission feel like a compact arcade challenge. Work out what went wrong, change the plan and head back in.
Guns, Grenades And A Bat
Your arsenal is suitably uncomplicated, with pistols, rifles and shotguns joined by the rather more personal option of a baseball bat. Grenades give you another way to deal with groups, while a quick dash can provide those crucial split seconds needed to escape trouble.
Between contracts, an open pixel-art city provides the setting for getting around from one job to the next. But the real action happens once you reach the address and start clearing rooms.
