Back in June of 2019 THQ Nordic and Feld Entertainment thrilled the crowds with the release of the original Monster Jam Steel Titans. Now, as 2021 begins to play out, Monster Jam Steel Titans 2 is announced.
Confirmed for release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC and Google Stadia come March 2nd 2021, Monster Jam Steel Titans 2 will build on what was previously delivered to see fans given the opportunity to enjoy some monster trucking with online multiplayer, a larger, enhanced truck roster and new worlds to explore.
Available to pre-order right now on Xbox and PlayStation, Monster Jam Steel Titans 2 will come in two unique flavours – the standard game, and in Power Out form. Pre-ordering the former of these will see you given access to the base game, plus the opportunity to drive the Inverse Higher Education truck. This will increase their in-game fleet of drivable trucks to 39 of the most popular Monster Jam trucks of all time.
The Power Out Bundle meanwhile takes that and ups the ante, namely in the form of 24-hours of early gameplay access, the original Monster Jan Steel Titans thrown in AND no less than three more DLC packs including the Fire and Ice, Bakugan Dragonoid, and Gold Truck Bundles. At £53.74, it’s more expensive than the Standard Edition at £36.74, but you’re getting a ton extra in terms of content.
“We’re thrilled to start 2021 with a quick preview of what our loyal fans can look forward to playing very soon!” said Jeff Bialosky, Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships, Feld Entertainment. “Monster Jam Steel Titans 2 honors the history of Monster Jam with the addition of many fan-favorite trucks, as well as expands the Monster Jam universe with the introduction of new worlds inspired by popular truck designs. Fans can also look forward to competing with their friends and family in online multiplayer challenges for the first time!”
“Monster Jam Steel Titans 2 represents a massive expansion to the Monster Jam video game experience and we’re thrilled to finally be able to reveal some of what we’re doing to the legions of fans,” said Lenore Gilbert, CEO, Rainbow Studios. “Monster Jam Steel Titans 2 is a huge step forward for the franchise – we can’t wait to see the fans react to seeing trucks like Higher Education, Backwards Bob®, Grave Digger® and Ice Cream Man in brand new worlds!”
If you’re familiar with the original Monster Jam Steel Titans then you should expect the sequel to provide more of the fun. If not, then well, in a nutshell it provides gamers with the chance to get involved in everything that competitive racing fans crave, from head-to-head stadium racing to freestyle competitions to waypoint challenges. With the all-new online multiplayer, five brand new worlds and endless exploration and discovery to hand, Monster Jam Steel Titans 2 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC and Google Stadia is certainly one to keep an eye on.
We’ll be sure to remind you when that March 2nd 2021 release date rolls round.
