LISA is on XBOX!

Over the course of nearly a decade, LISA has been picking up some serious acclaim. Having first released on PC back in 2014, it’s now time for LISA to hit the big stage, with launch of LISA: Definitive Edition on Xbox. It brings much more than just the base game too.

Fully reworked for Xbox

Fully reworked and upgraded for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, LISA: Definitive Edition launches onto console. It comes from the Dingaling Productions and Serenity Forge teams as the quirky side-scrolling RPG looks for a new home.

Present and correct from the Xbox Store today, there are many reasons why you should be playing LISA: Definitive Edition on Xbox. For a start, those previous Steam reviews are extremely complimentary, sitting at thousands of Overwhelmingly Positive responses. But then this console edition has been updated too. And whilst LISA: The Painful – Definitive Edition will keep you mostly busy, the inclusion of LISA: The Joyful – Definitive Edition is appreciated. See, it’s this which delivers a new conclusion to the tale.

What’s more, you don’t necessarily need to go all in with the big bundle. If you prefer, you can grab LISA: The Painful for ÂŁ16.74 from the Xbox Store. From there, the chance to fill it out with LISA: The Joyful for an additional ÂŁ8.39 at a later date arrives. Personally, we’d go with the ÂŁ20.99 LISA: Definitive Edition, but each to their own.

LISA: The Painful

LISA: The Painful – Definitive Edition is the newly updated version of the original quirky side-scrolling RPG, set in the post-apocalyptic wasteland of Olathe. Beneath the charming and funny exterior is a world full of disgust and moral destruction. Players will learn what kind of person they are by being FORCED to make choices permanently affecting the gameplay. Make sacrifices to keep your party members alive, whether it’s taking a beating for them, losing limbs, or some other inhuman torture. In this world, you will learn being selfish and heartless is the only way to survive…

LISA: The Joyful

LISA: The Joyful – Definitive Edition is the newly updated conclusion to the quirky side-scrolling RPG LISA series. Explore Olathe as Buddy in your quest to punish the world that has treated you wrong. Along the way, learn about Olathe, your family, and the monsters and men in power. The world’s out to get you… GET. IT. BACK.

However you get involved, LISA is sure to tickle some fancies. This is a game that throws you into the wasteland of Olathe, before leaving the player to truly discover who they are. The choices you make will dictate success in LISA: Definitive Edition – just don’t expect them all to be easy ones.

The Xbox Store awaits your cash, no matter whether you have played LISA previously or not. Hell, even if you have, we feel the updated goodies of the Xbox version pretty much demand a new playthough. Let us kow what you think though.

And if you’re after a review, we’ll get on it.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
