The frantic, bullet-hell FPS experience launched successfully back in July, but Grip Digital and Terrible Posture Games aren’t resting on their laurels. Instead they’ve released a free update for MOTHERGUNSHIP to test your friendships with an online co-op mode alongside various other fresh bits of content.
The ‘MOTHERGUNfriendSHIP’ update, as it has been dubbed, enables players to fight against the data-hoarding alien robots with their pals, hopefully bringing down the Mothergunship together now that the campaign is fully playable in online co-op (except the intro mission). That’s not all though, as there are also at least 10 new rooms and three new mobs from the bomb bot family, including the swarming baby bomb and mega bomb bots to haunt your dreams.
Other features of the update are an increased inventory limit and a re-balanced endgame to ensure you can build even more monstrous creations, as well as a load of bug fixes and balance adjustments to ensure MOTHERGUNSHIP is the best it can be. It’s available right away too for anyone playing on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
If you haven’t played MOTHERGUNSHIP yet and want to know more about it, we highly recommend a read of our full review.
