There’s a certain corner of the gaming niche dominated by dancing games that you play once or twice a year, often at Christmas with your family. It’s always been Just Dance that takes the top spot in this genre, with only really Dance Central offering an alternative (what a throwback!).
Now, Musical Vibes RX looks to shake up the narrative in a unique way, by allowing you to connect your smartphone camera to your games device. And you can do so with Xbox Play Anywhere.
Dance the Night Away
Now available on Xbox and PC, following on from a Switch launch in March of this year, Musical Vibes RX is the sequel to Musical Vibes (duh), and will allow one or two players to dance along to some vibrant beats with just a single smartphone device.
All you need is the Musical Vibes Camera app (which will allow you to see if your smartphone is capable), a way to prop up the phone against your TV, and away you go!
Musical Vibes RX also comes with a built-in calorie counter, if that’s your kind of thing to track, and includes five songs across a range of styles: hopefully there will be something to jive to whatever the mood and occasion.
Additionally, the Rhythm Game Mode will allow players to simply press buttons on your controller in time with the music; perfect for players with limited mobility, or for the times when dancing isn’t possible.
Play Now!
Whether you are playing on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch or PC, Musical Vibes RX promises a fun time for all involved. You can pick up a copy for yourself via the Xbox Store for £4.19, and dance to your heart’s content!
