Forget smooth tarmac and predictable racing lines. MXGP 26 – The Official Game is ready to throw riders into the dirt, bringing the 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
Developed by Artefacts Studio and published by Nacon, the latest entry in the motocross series introduces Unreal Engine 5 visuals, evolving track surfaces and a full season of official racing. That should give it an edge on previous MXGP games.
The Fox Holeshot Edition is available now for £54.99, while the Standard Edition arrives on October 1st for £49.99.

A New Breed Of Motocross Racing
MXGP 26 marks the franchise’s first move to Unreal Engine 5, bringing upgraded lighting, detailed environments and more natural rider animations to the track. The game features the official MXGP and MX2 categories, with 16 official bikes, major manufacturers and riders from the 2026 season.
But the biggest change comes beneath the wheels. Dynamic track deformation means the ground changes as riders carve through it, creating ruts and new racing lines with every pass. Those evolving surfaces affect the physics, forcing players to adapt their approach rather than simply sticking to the same line lap after lap.
There are several ways to get stuck into the action too. The Compound lets players practise scrubs and whips, while Time Trial is all about chasing the perfect lap. Quick Race throws you into a grid of 20 riders, Championship mode lets you pursue the red plate, and online multiplayer offers the chance to compete against others for a place in the global rankings.
Fox Holeshot Edition Gets Early Access
The Fox Holeshot Edition, priced at £54.99, is available now, giving players 72 hours of early access ahead of the Standard Edition launch.
Alongside the early start, the edition includes six exclusive SCRUB Designz liveries, five Fox liveries and access to MXGP-TV, the official platform for following the real-world championship.
Get Ready For The Gate To Drop
MXGP 26 – The Official Game brings its evolving tracks, official riders and expanded racing options to console and PC, with the Fox Holeshot Edition already available and the Standard Edition arriving on October 1st. The usual Xbox, PlayStation and PC storefronts will sort you out with the download you need.
If you’re ready to fight for position, master changing terrain and chase championship glory, it’s nearly time to fire up the engine and get racing.
