There are management sims, there are horror games, and then there’s My Cannibal Family – a delightfully bizarre blend of both that looks set to turn the theme park genre on its head.

Revealed during the Future Games Showcase, Raw Fury‘s latest publishing project is a grotesque monster horror sim that challenges players to build the ultimate attraction-filled destination… before feeding the guests to a family of hungry mutants.

My Cannibal Family is set to launch in 2027 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam.

Build The Theme Park Of Nightmares

At first glance, My Cannibal Family might look like a quirky management sim, but it doesn’t take long before the darker side of the park becomes clear.

Players will construct and expand a horror-themed attraction packed with rides, decorations, traps and hidden dangers. Using a flexible building system, it’s possible to transform a humble wooden shack into a sprawling maze of terror designed to keep visitors entertained – right up until the moment they become dinner.

The challenge comes from balancing the growth of the park while ensuring guests don’t realise what’s really happening behind the scenes.

Lure, Harvest And Feed

In this one, success isn’t measured by ticket sales alone.

Visitors must be guided into carefully prepared kill zones where an arsenal of weapons, traps and mutant family members can deal with them. Of course, things don’t always go to plan. Guests can panic, fight back or attempt to escape if they uncover the truth.

Once the dirty work is done, bodies can be harvested and stored to feed your ever-growing mutant family. Keeping everyone well-fed unlocks new tools, weapons, traps and even additional family members to add to your gruesome operation.

And beneath the dark humour and over-the-top violence sits a surprisingly narrative-driven campaign. As the park expands, players will encounter members of the mob responsible for betraying and abandoning the family in the past. That opens the door to a revenge story built around themes of loss, loyalty and, naturally, plenty of bloodshed.

Outside the park, players can also explore surrounding areas, uncover hidden resources, complete side missions and discover secrets that help strengthen their strange family empire.

A Horrifyingly Good Time?

My Cannibal Family certainly isn’t your typical management sim, combining creative building mechanics, resource management, co-op play and darkly comic horror into one unusual package.

With six parks to unlock, dozens of attractions to build and plenty of mutant mayhem to unleash, this is shaping up to be one of the strangest game reveals of the year. We’ll find out just how twisted things get when My Cannibal Family launches on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC in 2027.

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
