MY HERO ULTRA RUMBLE Season 15 introduces Tokoyami, Dark Shadow abilities, and the Neo Academia stage across consoles and PC.

MY HERO ULTRA RUMBLE continues its steady evolution today as Season 15 officially goes live, bringing a brand-new playable hero, a fresh stage inspired by the anime’s final chapter, and another wave of rewards for players to chase.

Available free-to-play on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC, the latest season looks to build on the momentum established in recent updates, including the substantial Season 14 refresh that landed late last year.

Tokoyami Joins The Fight As Season 15’s New Hero

Headlining Season 15 is Fumikage Tokoyami, the stoic Class 1-A student who brings his formidable Quirk, Dark Shadow, into the battle royale arena.

Filling the Assault role, Tokoyami focuses on sustained pressure and coordinated aggression, striking in tandem with Dark Shadow to overwhelm opponents. His kit allows him to envelop himself in darkness, boosting his combat effectiveness while maintaining strong battlefield presence.

Dark Shadow Takes Centre Stage

Tokoyami’s abilities lean heavily into mobility and momentum:

  • Black Ankh enhances melee power while improving movement options
  • Twin Wings of the Black Arm allows for aerial leaps, mid-air gliding, and can even be activated while Black Ankh is active

Together, these skills make Tokoyami a flexible threat, capable of pressuring from above or diving straight into the chaos alongside teammates.

Neo Academia Expands The Battleground

Season 15 doesn’t stop at a new character. Players can also drop into Neo Academia, a newly added stage recreating several dramatic locations from the anime’s final chapter.

Expect familiar landmarks such as the Coffin in the Sky, Todoroki House, and Jaku City Hospital, all reimagined to support MY HERO ULTRA RUMBLE’s fast-paced, team-focused battle royale structure. The result is a map that rewards positioning, verticality, and smart use of Quirks in tight encounters.

Events, Costumes And Seasonal Rewards

As with previous seasons, Season 15 is packed with limited-time Events and unlockables designed to keep players engaged throughout the update.

Among the highlights are:

  • Midoriya’s U.A. Track Suit
  • Monoma’s Hero Costume
  • New emotes, voice lines, and enhancement parts
  • Additional character illustrations added through ongoing updates

Why This Matters For MY HERO ULTRA RUMBLE

Seasonal updates have become a key pillar of MY HERO ULTRA RUMBLE’s longevity, and Season 15 continues the upward trend seen in Season 14, which we covered extensively back in November 2025.

At launch, we awarded the game a 4/5, noting that “MY HERO ULTRA RUMBLE exceeds expectations as an extraordinary take on the battle royale genre”. While the limited modes and map selection were flagged as potential longevity concerns, consistent seasonal updates, expanding rosters, and meaningful rewards have gone a long way toward addressing those early worries.

With a new hero, a new map, and another slate of objectives to chase, Season 15 reinforces why MY HERO ULTRA RUMBLE remains one of the more engaging free-to-play anime adaptations currently available.
