And as we saw in our coverage of Season 8, each new season brings fresh content and exciting additions to the game.

A Villainous Newcomer

Season 9 introduces Kurogiri, the enigmatic and loyal member of the League of Villains, as a playable character.

With his “Warp Gate” Quirk, Kurogiri can manipulate dark fog to create portals, teleporting himself and allies across the battlefield and unleashing devastating attacks on his opponents. His unique abilities and strategic potential are sure to shake up the meta and offer new tactical possibilities for players.

A City of Chaos

But that’s not all! Season 9 also introduces a brand-new stage, “Chaos City,” a dynamic and unpredictable environment where battles will unfold amidst a backdrop of urban mayhem.

With its destructible elements, hidden pathways, and strategic vantage points, Chaos City promises to deliver a fresh and exciting experience for players.

New Costumes and Quirks

Season 9 also brings a variety of new costumes and Quirk updates:

  • New Costumes: Dress up your favorite heroes and villains in stylish new outfits, including Cyberpunk costumes for Twice, Mr. Compress, and Tomura Shigaraki, a Duffle Coat disguise for Himiko Toga, and the Parallel World costume for Yaoyorozu and Kaminari.
  • Updated Quirks: Experience an updated skill set for Eijiro Kirishima, making him an even more formidable force on the battlefield. Plus, Himiko Toga’s alternative skill set, “Sting Dance,” makes a return, offering a new way to play as the blood-loving villain.

A Free-to-Play Hero Showdown

My Hero Ultra Rumble continues to deliver an exciting and accessible free-to-play experience for fans of the My Hero Academia universe and battle royale enthusiasts alike.

With its ever-expanding roster of characters, dynamic combat system, and unique take on the genre, My Hero Ultra Rumble offers a thrilling and rewarding experience for players of all skill levels.

Season 9: A Portal to New Adventures

With the addition of Kurogiri, a new stage, fresh costumes, updated Quirks, and exciting events, this season of My Hero Ultra Rumble is shaping up to be the most action-packed yet.

My Hero Ultra Rumble is available to play for free on PlayStation, Xbox (via the Xbox Store), Nintendo Switch, and PC.
