We’ve recently seen the teams at Beamdog and Skybound Games delve back into gaming’s past, reviving old classics like Baldur’s Gate, and Planescape: Torment and Icewind Dale with Enhanced Editions. Today they are doing the same, launching the iconic Neverwinter Nights out on to Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch in enhanced form.

Available to purchase and download right now from the Xbox Store, the PlayStation Store, and the Nintendo eShop, Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition is the latest experience to be brought back from the dead by Skybound and Beamdog, ensuring that a whole new generation of gamers get the opportunity to delve into some of the most classic of gameplay.

Priced at £41.74, Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition will take us back to where it all started, with the 2002 Computer RPG of the Year. And alongside the base game that will see you working your way through incredible adventures as a elven rogue, a gnomish sorcerer or dwarvern paladin, will discover and all its DLC present and correct.

This means you’ll get access to 10 standalone D&D-based adventures, featuring co-op and online multiplayer, enhanced to appeal to a new audience. And if the brilliance of the Baldur’s Gate pack, or stunning Planescape: Torment and Icewind Dale playthrough is anything to go by, this is one you won’t want to miss.

Get yourself over to your favoured digital store right now. We’re off to the Xbox Store to get our download in. And as always, once you’ve got it moving head on down to the comments section below and let us know what you’re hoping to find with this classic title.

Game Description:

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
