You’ve probably heard of Aven Colony. After all, when Mothership Entertainment and Team17 joined forces to create and promote the gorgeous city builder, the whole universe knew about it. There is however still a month or so before we see its release on console, but today Team17 have released a brand new trailer… one that focuses right in on the console specifics.
Due to arrive on Xbox One, PS4 and PC come July 25th 2017, Aven Colony does away with the boring Earth themed city building and whisks us off to a new planet – Aven Prime. It is on there which you will be asked to help build a colony, keeping your people safe from the environmental hazards that are associated with moving to a whole new planet. You’ll be tasked with carrying out missions and objectives, all whilst your ensure your farming and resource levels are kept in check.
The newest trailer released today though showcases how the HUD and UI have been redefined for the optimal Xbox One city-builder experience. Don’t worry about those pesky PC style controls and HUD – Aven Colony will have you sorted.
