Bandai Namco have revealed lots of new information regarding Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 including a new character that has a real dark side.
Let’s start with the darkest of them all. Players will be able to get their long-awaited hands on the most villainous incarnation of Vegeta we’ll be sure to see in the Dragon Ball Z universe… Majin Vegeta.
But that’s merely the warm-up act for the reveal of the online modes featured in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. A completely new Expert Mission mode pits six players against a single NPC boss to provide the ultimate test. These crafty enemies will do everything in their power to separate you from your allies. How exactly? Well, the boss can send players into different dimensions with sub challenges to conquer, of course.
There are standard ranked and unranked matches between each player’s unique avatars being included, as well as the option to take part in endless fights. Here, zero stat avatars are available for you for a true showdown of pure skills. Other changes will see the amount of quests doubled from the previous game and there will also be new versions of parallel quests. Players who love to hunt for their ideal costumes and accessories can do so with the new system for rare item drops.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is slated for release on 28th October on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Keep your eyes open though for an upcoming open beta, giving you an insight into these features and Conton City.
