New mega expensive Stars and Stripes DLC arrives for World of Tanks on Xbox

-

Latest Reviews

Since its initial release on Xbox, World of Tanks players would have had the opportunity to purchase a whole host of downloadable content for the game. Today, that DLC library has expanded once more as two more content packs arrive for purchase.

World of Tanks as a base game is completely free-to-play, but today two new paid for DLC add-ons have arrived on both Xbox One and Xbox 360 – the Bright Stars Mega pack and the Broad Stripes Mega pack. Both allow you to bolster your arsenal with new machinery and more garage slots, with Shermans and Scorpions at the forefront of the content.

Depending on your console of choice though, if you wish to grab the latest content, you’ll need a pretty large wallet. The Xbox One Bright Star Mega pack will set you back £31.19 (£31.99 on Xbox 360), whilst the Broad Stripes Mega pack comes in at an even heftier price – £50.99 on Xbox One and £52.49 on 360. Those are both fairly big whacks to put up with, and so this latest content really is only going to appeal to the most hardened of World of Tanks players.

If you’re one of those, then hit the links below and get whisked to the Xbox Games Store right now.

Bright Stars Mega Pack Description:

What better way to expand your Garage than by adding proven iconic war machines! Shermans helped pave the way to victory, and this bundle features three specially-dressed variants: the Sherman Fury, M4A2E4 Ripper and Sherman Firefly “Boilermaker!” • American Tier VI Sherman Fury Medium Tank • Wardaddy Crew with Mentor Skill • American Tier V M4A2E4 Ripper Medium Tank • British Tier VI Sherman Firefly Boilermaker Medium Tank • Jim White Crew with Last Stand Skill • 3 Garage Slots

Broad Stripes Mega Pack Description:

Bolster your arsenal with American pride: add a pair of fierce destroyers with the M56 Scorpion and T28 Concept, and the rare flanker T23E3! • American Tier VII M56 Scorpion Tank Destroyer • American Tier VII T28 Concept Tank Destroyer • American Tier VII T23E3 Medium Tank • 3 Garage Slots

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
