Looking forward to the new Naruto title? Want to get a heads up on the gameplay which will hold it all together? Bandai Namco have got you sorted with a brand new trailer.

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker will be coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC, and today Bandai Namco have revealed more details regarding the gameplay found in their ninja battle action title. Developed by Soleil Ltd, Shinobi Striker will see groups of expert ninjas placed together in 4vs4 battles set across large 3D stages. There will be four different types of Ninjutsu to choose from too, with the following all in place…

  • Attack-type fighters such as Naruto Uzumaki, Kakashi Hatake and Pain will have powerful, fast and strong attacks.
  • Ranged-type fighters such as Sasuke Uchiha, Itachi Uchiha and Konan who are famous for their long-distance attacks.
  • Defense-type fighters like Kisame Hoshigaki who are able to reinforce his defense.
  • Heal-type fighters like Sakura Haruno will be able to heal themselves and other players.

If that is of interest to you, then you may like to know that Bandai have also today revealed the two main battle modes: Barrier mode and Flag mode which are playable in 4 vs 4.

The former of the two – Barrier mode – will see teams split into Offense and Defense where they have to defeat the boss, whilst Flag mode pits teams of 4 shinobi against each other in order to capture each other’s flag and take it back to their territory. Further sub mission modes such as the escort, extermination and subjugation options will allow you to co-op it up with friends too.

We’ll of course bring you more as and when Bandai deliver the details.
