Available right now, as players look to bolster their Game Pass play times, are four new downloadable content packs for Bandai Namco’s SD GUNDAM BATTLE ALLIANCE. An entry into the G: Universe that first arrived back in 2022, SD GUNDAM BATTLE ALLIANCE is a game that is capable of delivering the goods on occasion. For instance, there are some seriously nostalgic appearances that will appeal to fans of the universe, whilst the excellent array of Mobile Suits should be seen as another positive. We also found it to be good fun in short spells, ensuring that the 3.5/5 we gave SD GUNDAM BATTLE ALLIANCE in review was suitable.
This is a game that is repetitive and grindy though, and with that in mind we’re hoping that the four new DLC packs for SD GUNDAM BATTLE ALLIANCE, those that have popped up just as the game goes free on Game Pass, will be of interest.
So what are we getting? Well, there is the Bonus Pack in place, setting you back £3.99, whilst Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Super Packs slowly increased in price. All should help you out as you head into the Gundam universe.

- MS Development Aid: Start Dash Pack and Early Unlock: Gundam – 5,000 CAPITAL tickets – Expansion Part: Char Aznable’s Mask (for Infighters, All-Rounders, and Sharpshooters) – Early unlock rights for the unit Gundam. *The unit Gundam can also be obtained by progressing through the game. Early Unlock enables the unit to be used from the start of the game.
You’ve then got the Level Super Packs, running at £0.79 for Lv1, £1.69 for Lv2 and £3.29 for Lv3. As the ‘Super’ tag suggests these will be great in delivering a set of items that will make your time with the game super, enhancing Mobile Suits and liit breaks as they go.

It all goes without saying that in order to use the new DLC packs for SD GUNDAM BATTLE ALLIANCE, you’ll need the base game in tow. Smart players will make the most of the new switch to the Game Pass scheme, if only as the more money you can save, the better. But if you must pay up, must own it outright, then expect SD GUNDAM BATTLE ALLIANCE to cost you in the region of £49.99.
