There’s no doubt about it, Fallout 76 has gone from strength to strength since launch, with Bethesda treating it to a decent amount of free updates. And we are gathered here today to witness the release of a gameplay trailer for the next update, Steel Dawn. Alongside this are a whole host of details pertaining to what you can expect when Fallout 76 Steel Dawn emerges.
Prepare to welcome the Brotherhood of Steel to Appalachia in the upcoming free update Steel Dawn, which all Fallout 76 players can experience on 1st December. Steel Dawn is the first chapter of the Brotherhood of Steel questline, expanding on the new life brought to Appalachia via the previous Wastelanders update. This adds new NPCs, new locations to visit, C.A.M.P. Shelters for expanded building options, new weapons and armor to earn, and so much more.
In Steel Dawn, you’ll find that Paladin Leila Rahmani and her troops have arrived from California in order to establish a new Appalachian chapter. It’s your call as to whether you work with or against the other Factions in a bid to achieve success. Get ready to visit settlements populated with new NPCs as well as unlock powerful weapons and armor from the Brotherhood arsenal. Join in their mission to rebuild society and aid them in securing some rather valuable technology!
The Steel Dawn update includes:
- New Questline – Determine how you will aid The Brotherhood of Steel NPCs in the first chapter of their new all-new story, available December 1.
- New Locations and Gear – Unlock unique weapons and armor from Steel Dawn and explore new locations newly populated with members of The Brotherhood and other factions.
- Season 3 Scoreboard – Join Time Operative K.D. Inkwell in her quest for the Guild of Antiquities and rank up to unlock new rewards including C.A.M.P. Allies, Lunchboxes, and more. Beginning December 15.
- C.A.M.P. Shelters – Build and decorate in new underground, instanced spaces separate from your main C.A.M.P. Complete a new quest and get your first Shelter free starting December 15.
- Lite Allies – Recruit two new allies as you rank up during Season 3, who offer bonuses exclusively from your C.A.M.P.
There will be a couple of bundles to keep an eye out for on launch day too, with the Fallout 76: Steel Dawn Deluxe Edition and Brotherhood Recruitment Bundle set to include bonus in–game digital items, while the Deluxe Edition also contains the full game. All you have to do is wait until 1st December, because that’s the day everything arrives on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4 and PC!
