Activision have today released the first gameplay trailer for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5. We think you know what to expect, but you’ll want to see this anyway!
Backed by punk band Plague Vendor’s “Black Sap Scriptures”, the video shown below shows a number of skating pros, hidden characters, classic trick combos in brand new levels and tons of skaters ripping together.
Rekindling the signature style of the most classic Pro Skater games, the focus of THPS5 is the same…take on daring objectives, learn the fine tuned controls and tear it up through for endless sessions and high-scoring tricks.
With a seamless online multiplayer letting you quickly jump into the action with up to 20 friends and challengers at one time and with near on everything you could do in past THPS titles, you can now go online with friends in THPS5, unlocking new content and leveling up as you go. And if your skills allow it, prepare to go head-to-head against all takers in competitive matches. Adding to the online insanity, you can create your own skate parks then share them with the community.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 will release on Xbox One and PS4 come Oct 2nd 2015. You’ll find a version for Xbox 360 and PS3 dropping before the year is out but online play will be omitted from these versions.
