World War Z releases on Xbox One, PS4 and PC in mid-April and today the team at Saber Interactive have released the very latest gameplay trailer, giving an insight into the highly anticipated shooter.

Inspired by Paramount Pictures’ blockbuster film, World War Z will be hitting Xbox One, PS4 and PC come April 16th 2019, to deliver a narrative driven campaign set across four episodes, taking you to New York, Jerusalem, Moscow and Tokyo. Each and every session found within threatens to tell its own unique tale of survival as you are left to constantly adapt to the actions of not just yourself, but also your squad. If you want to go stealthy, then great, as you’ll be able to preserve ammo, but should you wish to go all out attack, then an extra turret or two may just help matters.

There will be multiple classes and weapons available too and whether you prefer to support your team with ammo and heals, or wish to specialise in explosives or unleashing devastating firepower, you’ll find a class suited to any playstyle.

You can see how this plays out in the trailer below. Narrated by Saber’s Creative Director Oliver Hollis-Leick, the new video dives into the intense action that players can expect to find while scavenging, running and blasting hordes of hundreds of zombies.

Alongside the campaign and you will also be able to compete against others in 4v4 across a variety of Player vs Player vs Zombies modes. This includes zombified twists on classics such as King of the Hill, Domination and Deathmatch, alongside the all-new Scavenge Raid and Vaccine Hunt modes.

Excited? World War Z is very nearly here and we’ll be sure to remind you when it pops up onto the Xbox Store. You can pre-order it right now should you wish, whilst https://wwzgame.com/buy will allow you to go all physical. All retail boxes come with the free Lobo Weapon Pack, featuring three golden weapon skins and the dual-bladed Lobo spade.
