New Kirito mode, characters, maps and more revealed for Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet

-

It’s been inspired by the much-loved anime franchise and today Bandai Namco have revealed new characters, maps, weapons, costumes quests and a Kirito Mode that will be hitting Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet.

Due for release on 23rd Feb 2018 for all Xbox One, PS4 and PC players to enjoy, Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet will feature an original story that has been overseen by Sword Art Online creator Reki Kawahara, offering an epic adventure to get involved in. With Unreal Engine 4 powering it, you can expect to find full multiplayer capabilities and competitive modes available for anything between two and eight players to work together.

Fatal Bullet will introduce original characters Kureha, Zeliska and Itsuki exclusively to the storyline, whilst the “Asuna’s Clothes Quest”, will allow players to collect costume recipes by earning rewards, handing over materials to Asuna to create a custom costume not sold in the shop.

Furthermore you’ll be finding the Kirito Mode included. This will see players assume the role of Kazuto Kirigaya (known as Kirito) battling against the infamous Death Gun in the Bullet of Bullets tournament. You will also be able to explore the Remnant Wasteland and use powerful weapons including the hand gun, sniper rifle and sword for close range blows or attacks from afar.

Keep an eye out for it when it hits in February 2018.
