While current generation ballers have already taken to the court in NBA 2K21, the attention now turns to the next-gen consoles. 2K unveiled a new video, captured on PlayStation 5, showcasing the jaw-dropping realism you can expect on the aforementioned console and the Xbox Series X|S.
This gameplay video features a true look at next-gen gameplay for NBA 2K21, a game which has been built from the ground up to utilise the power of the latest tech. It shows off an exhibition game between the Golden State Warriors and the Dallas Mavericks. You are brought right up to the action on the hardwood – as you’re actually there – and the contest is brought to life by new AI systems that power every single person in the arena. From that point, the new Rail Cam presents NBA 2K21 gameplay in a dynamic and visually stunning fashion, elevating it to new and immersive heights.

The next-gen version of NBA 2K21 is set up to make a tremendous leap forward and become the largest game in franchise history. So much has been expanded and improved upon, including the following aspects:
- An eye-popping leap in graphical advancements: next-gen lighting, textures, physics, animations, and more that push NBA 2K21’s visual presentation to the bleeding edge;
- Rebuilt player movement and player impact, driven by new on-court animation and collision engines that make for a smoother, tougher game;
- The entire arena comes to life, with more than 150 unique AI-driven characters interacting seamlessly to create a groundbreaking Lower Bowl experience;

And you can enjoy all of this when NBA 2K21 launches on 10th November for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S worldwide, before hitting PlayStation 5 on 12th November in the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea, and 19th November in all other regions.
