New games land on Game Pass this week

The Xbox Game Pass lineup is sparking with fresh energy this week, delivering an eclectic mix of tactical shooters, vibrant platformers, strategic delights, and even a highly anticipated new football game.

Prepare to jump into some fantastic new experiences, alongside a final farewell to a few titles.

New Arrivals on Game Pass

We’ve got four new games landing on Game Pass this week – and they are a proper mixed bunch.

FBC: Firebreak (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – June 17th

Step into the shoes of the Bureau’s most elite unit in FBC: Firebreak, a cooperative first-person shooter that promises intense, otherworldly combat. Set within a mysterious federal agency under siege by unknown forces, you and your squad are the last line of defense.

As the headquarters descends into chaos, it’s up to Firebreak to plunge into the strangest crises, restore order, and blast your way back from the brink. Expect tight gunplay, strategic team coordination, and a deeply atmospheric setting as you fight to survive against supernatural threats.

If you’ve played Control, we would guess you’ll want to get behind this new shooter.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time (Console and PC) – June 17th

Get ready for a brand-wumping new adventure with your favourite marsupials!

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time smashes its way onto Game Pass, launching Crash and Coco into a time-shattered escapade. Neo Cortex and N. Tropy are back and causing multiverse-level mayhem, and it’s up to our heroes to reunite the four Quantum Masks and bend the rules of reality itself. Expect new abilities, more playable characters, alternate dimensions, and of course, ridonkulous bosses.

While our review noted that “The next-gen enhancements are nice… but they don’t change any of the larger issues to make this any better than the Xbox One version,” we still found it to be a vibrant and challenging platformer that delivers that classic Crash Bandicoot charm.

Lost in Random: The Eternal Die (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – June 17th

Roll the dice and embrace the unexpected with Lost in Random: The Eternal Die, the standard edition now making its way to Game Pass after its Fortune Edition debut.

Blending dynamic real-time action with tactical dice-roll mechanics for thrilling, second-to-second battles, The Eternal Die will see you step into the shoes of Queen Aleksandra, a once-great ruler on a mission for vengeance and redemption through the hauntingly beautiful, gothic whimsical world of Random. Wield unique weapons, unleash powerful card-based abilities, and strategically roll your trusted dice companion, Fortune, to shift the tide of battle.

As we mentioned when the Fortune Edition launched last week, “Lost in Random: The Eternal Die blends dynamic real-time action, tactical combat, and risk-reward dice mechanics for thrilling second-to-second battles.

REMATCH (Cloud, Console, and PC) – June 19th

Step onto the pitch from a whole new angle with REMATCH, a unique third-person action football game hitting Game Pass.

This isn’t your typical football simulation and it’s a world removed from EAFC 25 and eFootball; it’s about skill-based gameplay where every tackle, dribble, aim, and shot is controlled from an immersive, up-close perspective. With no player stats to rely on, victory hinges purely on player skill and flawless tactical coordination with your teammates.

Expect non-stop action with no fouls, no offsides, and no pauses, creating a fast-paced, arcade-style football experience.

Designed from the ground up for online multiplayer with split-second response times and competitive modes, REMATCH is all about challenging yourself and your mates to reach the top leagues.

Our review of REMATCH is on the way.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
