In just a couple of weeks time gamers can get their hands on the highly anticipated Destiny 2 via the beta. What you’re probably eager to find out though is how to gain access to it and when it specifically begins… so keep reading.
Those Guardians who lay down their money to pre-order Destiny 2 will receive early access to the beta, starting on July 18th for PlayStation 4 owners and a day late for the Xbox One crowd. Then, on July 21st at 6pm BST, the open beta kicks off until 5am on July 23rd, allowing many more players to give it a go. Once it’s live, it’ll feature a selection of activities to get involved in such as the opening story mission and both co-operative and competitive modes.
The full mission to reclaim the home of the Guardians starts on September 6th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, but this beta should at least give you a taste of what to expect in Destiny 2. It won’t be long until we’re fighting together to bring about the demise of Dominus Ghaul and his Red Legion army!
