We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, Vampire Survivors is one of the most addictive games of recent times. That means any new update will be of huge appeal and today we welcome Patch v1.3.0, AKA ‘The Chaotic One’. It comes with new achievements, a new stage and new relics!

Rolling out to Vampire Survivors right about now is the latest patch for the game – Patch v1.3.0, otherwise known as ‘The Chaotic One’. It arrives on Xbox, PC and mobile, tweaking things, adding surprises as it goes.

Should you have the base game to hand – and you should as it’s a game that we gave the big 5/5 in review – then this latest patch will bring a host of fun to Vampire Survivors. It comes on the back of the previous DLC drop of Legacy of the Moonspell, and adds in new features that will keep you playing even longer.

Front and centre is the inclusion of three new achievements, whilst a batty new challenge stage – that of Bat Country – is also added in. From there is of larger-than-life power-up for Bone Boy, plus more.

If you wish to know more about Vampire Survivors as a whole, you’d do well to check out both our reviews of the base game and then that of the Legacy of the Moonspell expansion. There’s very little to not like about this stupidly addictive single stick shooter. Just be aware, your time will be eaten up as soon as your download takes hold.

Check out the absolutely crazy patch trailer below and let us know in the comments or via the usual social channels if it’s enough to keep you going back to Vampire Survivors – not that anyone needs a reason to continue playing…

Vampire Survivors can be picked up from the Xbox Store, playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
