What new Xbox One and Xbox 360 games are ‘In Stores This Week’? – 25th Sept-1st Oct 2017

-

A week of gaming with just a single new release or two in the world of Xbox One and Xbox 360 could be considered the calm before the storm at the moment, given the sheer amount big games coming out regularly. But this so called calm sees a huge sports title and an official racer hit the store shelves, so let’s take a look at what’s ‘In Stores This Week’.

WRC 7 – 26th September – Xbox One

WRC 7 has hopes of offering rally fans a more realistic way to experience the official game of the 2017 FIA World Rally Championship. Race across 13 rallies behind the wheel of official cars from manufacturers like Citroen, Hyundai and Ford, with 55 actual WRC teams included too. Experience the different terrains, from mud laden routes to snow covered roads all around the globe; in Mexico, Argentina and Sweden, to name just a few of the places. The physics engine has been developed in conjunction with real life engineers to ensure to cars handle and behave as close to the real thing as possible.

FIFA 18 – 29th September – Xbox One & Xbox 360

That next instalment of the FIFA series is set to be bigger and better than ever as it overhauls the player control, offering more responsiveness in the movement and new dribbling mechanics to prove additional creativity to the action. All the usual modes will return such as the dream team builder Ultimate Team, the 11vs11 antics of Pro Clubs, and the managerial challenge of Career. Alex Hunter’s next chapter features as well, ensuring The Journey prospers with a star-studded cast, more to play for and consequences for the decisions you make. FIFA 18 wants to be the most authentic football game on the market, but will you venture onto the pitch to find out if it succeeds?

FIFA 18 is also available on the Xbox 360 in the form of the Legacy Edition, which brings most of the same modes and innovations; with the exception of Pro Clubs and The Journey modes.

Been gaming casually since the SNES as a youngster but found my true passion for games on the Playstation 1 (the forbidden word ooo). My addiction grew to its pinnacle with the purchase of an Xbox 360 & Xbox Live Service. A recovering GS hunter that will still play literally any game.
