Night & Day announced for a Spring 2019 release on Xbox One, PS4, Switch and PC

-

New details regarding the first work of developers Ikigai Gameworks have been officially unveiled and it appears that Night & Day will see the light of day with a release in the spring of 2019. Want to know more about the upcoming adventure runner?

Night & Day presents a rather complex story, the likes of which has never been seen before within its genre. The journey follows Colwyn and Lyssa, two people who have been condemned by a curse to be both always together and eternally separated. Touring the forgotten world of Celuria, you must control the two main characters simultaneously – in single player and two-player offerings – to overcome multiple challenges, eventually confronting the red with and her generals. It’s at this point you’ll finally discover the mystery behind the curse.

In true spirit of the runner genre though, Night & Day’s mechanics are simple and the controls are easy enough to pick up quickly, but that doesn’t mean those reflexes of yours won’t be tested to the max with its devilish difficulty. You can expect to find the toughest moments as you face off against bosses and mini-bosses, all of which takes place within a spectacular environment that sees day and night collide.

Even with just a couple of moves to perform, Night & Day should have enough to send you into an upward spiral of difficulty, whose level of challenge is reminiscent of titles like Celeste, Meatboy or Runner3. You’ve got just under a year to prepare those reflexes as Night & Day launches in Spring 2019 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
