Releasing today on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch, following a 2022 PC launch, Nightmare Reaper is a fast-paced blend of 90s 2.5D shooters such as DOOM and Quake, combined with the pure addiction that comes from modern roguelites such as Hades and Enter the Gungeon. The outcome? Blood, guts, and a whole lot of explosions!
You are thrown into the first-person perspective of our hero, who is plunged deep into a nightmare full of creepy monsters, geysers of blood, and the other hallmarks of the scariest night terror you’ve ever had. As you progress through multiple open-ended levels, you’ll slowly gain access to the 80 weapons within the game’s arsenal, each with random enchantments that make each playthrough of Nightmare Reaper feel unique.
Furthermore, your character will be constantly evolving with new abilities and upgrades, unlocked through spending gold collected on runs, and through fun minigames that serve as a distraction from all the mayhem you are causing.
