Past history proves that as we move into the middle of the month, the Xbox Games With Gold scheme starts providing even more freebies. With October in full swing, once again we see the gifts dropping the ways of Xbox One and Xbox 360 players, with Ninja Gaiden 3: RE the latest.
Stripped of the usual £24.99 price tag, Ninja Gaiden 3: RE is a native Xbox 360 title that can make the most of the magic, and the power, of Backwards Compatibility to ensure that even the most modern Xbox gamers – those with Xbox One in house – can enjoy what is contained within.
But what is Ninja Gaiden 3: RE? Well, as you probably know Ninja Gaiden is a hugely well received franchise, and the Razor’s Edge Edition is an enhanced version of the standard Ninja Gaiden 3, with all additional content drops and enhancements in place. Starring the elite master ninja of the previous Ninja Gaiden titles, Ryu Hayabusa, Razor’s Edge takes place directly after the events found in Ninja Gaiden II, focusing efforts on a storyline which revolves around Ryu’s ally, Ayane and the Black Spider Clan.
Should you wish to give Ninja Gaiden 3: RE on Xbox a go and have a valid Xbox Live Gold subscription to hand, then that free download is available from now until the end of October. Just head over to the Xbox Store and set your download in motion – even if you don’t intend on playing it right now, you may as well stick it in your library.
