The latest gameplay trailer for Tour de France 2015 focuses right in on the console version of the game and cycling fans should be pretty excited.

Cyanide Studios are bringing Tour de France 2015 to both consoles and PC this year. Whilst the PC version usually gets a ton of extra features, strategy and the full Pro Cycling Manager experience, the console version can occasionally be left behind in the chasing group.

This year however, the console version will have a range of new features as you experience the rollercoaster of emotions that come as standard for all pro riders embarking on a Grand Tour. You’ll need to judge when to attack, when to issue orders to teammates and when to conserve that energy ready for the final push. If you want to win the coveted yellow jersey, then you’ll need to bring together all your skills.

New console features include:

  • Unprecedented immersion – New routes, landmarks, sceneries, improved graphics, crowd full of life and more, will further enhance your sensation of being at the center of the exciting events.
  • Upgraded interface – The in-race interface has been redesigned to provide instant access to any information: effort, energy, feeds, position in the peloton, stage profile, wind direction and more.
  • Pro Team mode upgraded – To prepare the Tour de France, play the DauphinĂ© and the CritĂ©rium International every season. Achieve your race objectives and recruit to build your dream team.
  • New game mode: Challenge – Test your skills as a descender! We challenge you to descend the cols via the technical route to beat the reference times!

The official game of Tour de France will release on Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC this June. Check out the latest trailer below.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
