one dog story xbox one

If pixelated adventures are your bag, and you have a bit of a connection with man’s best friend, then the launch of One Dog Story on Xbox One should be something of huge interest.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, One Dog Story throws you into the life of a lovable canine, as he wakes from a horrific accident. From there you are left to embark on a new tale full of adventure, pushed along by the draw of multiple RPG elements and the chance to spend hours with a cast of characters who promise much. Should you expect to find these characters in and amongst the greatest of all the dogs of video games? Probably not, but you can still be sure for a good old time.

Previously having launched on Steam way back in 2017, the Xbox One version of One Dog Story will set you back £12.49, but for that outlay you can be sure that you’ll get a pretty decent little platforming experience, one that isn’t just about taking down a whole variety of enemies, but also provides the chance for you to explore some wonderful worlds.

Drop in a number of different endings, plenty of secrets to find, a host of weird locations, and enough weaponry to keep you busy for weeks on end, and on the face of it there should be much to love about this new canine adventure.

Features include:

  • Hardcore Bosses
  • A Wide Variety Of Locations
  • Original Gameplay Decisions
  • Full Interaction With the Game World
  • Lots Of Different Weapons and Modifications
  • Fantastic Sfx and Background Music
  • Different endings, secrets, and collectibles for the especially sharp-eyed among you

We’ll have a full review of One Dog Story on Xbox One coming your way in the days ahead, but should you be tempted by what the premise delivers, or just can’t ignore the draw of the dog, then the Xbox Store will sort you out with a full download. Let us know in the comments if you decide to pick it up.
