Fire & Water
Fire & Water – out now on Xbox

The classic and beloved puzzle-platforming formula of two elemental opposites working together has arrived on Xbox in a charming new package – but can you harness the power of Fire & Water?

Fire & Water, a new cooperative puzzler, has launched on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. This new title from developer and publisher Gametry is available right now for the incredibly low price of just ÂŁ2.39. Yes, ÂŁ2.39. Dirt cheap.

A Tale of Two Elements

Prepare to take control of Fire Boy and Water Girl, switching between them or teaming up with a friend to solve a host of tricky environmental challenges and escape each level.

In Fire & Water, you will guide two characters with very different, and very dangerous, properties. Fire Boy and Water Girl must work in harmony to navigate over 30 hand-crafted levels. The catch? Fire Boy can’t touch water, Water Girl can’t touch fire, and a mysterious black water is deadly for both of them.

A Test of Teamwork

This is a game built on teamwork. You can play solo and switch between the two characters at will, or you can team up with a friend in local co-op.

Whatever you choose, you’ll need to use both characters’ unique ability to withstand their own element to solve a variety of clever puzzles. This will involve using mirrors, levers, elevators, moving platforms, pulleys, wind machines, buttons, and more to clear a path.

Your goal in each of the 30+ levels is to collect all the gems to unlock the exit doors. The faster you manage to finish, the higher your score will be, adding a layer of replayability for those who want to perfect their runs.

Key Features

  • Classic Co-op Puzzle-Platforming: Guide Fire Boy and Water Girl through over 30 challenging levels.
  • Unique Elemental Challenges: Fire Boy can’t touch water, Water Girl can’t touch fire, and black goo is deadly for both.
  • Play Solo or with a Friend: Switch between characters in single-player or team up in local co-op.
  • Clever Environmental Puzzles: Use pulleys, wind machines, buttons, levers, and more to solve challenges.
  • Collect All the Gems: Gather every gem to unlock the exit doors and aim for a high score.
  • Charming Hand-Drawn Art Style.

The exit is in sight, but the path is filled with peril. If you’re a fan of classic co-op puzzle-platformers, Fire & Water is ready to test your teamwork on the Xbox Store right now.
