No Heroes Here 2
No Heroes Here 2 – out now on console, and Play Anywhere

Hold the fort, men! No Heroes Here 2 is the ultimate in wacky tower-defense titles, putting you and your friends at the heart of an epic battle, as the last hope in defending your last bastion.

Can you save the day and live to tell the tale?

More than Familiar

Available today on Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, this one marks a first foray into the console space for Mad Mimic’s No Heroes Here 2, which has been PC-exclusive since October 2024. Xbox Play Anywhere support is in place too.

Take just one look at trailers for the game (found at the bottom of this page), and you’ll instantly be drawing parallels to other fast-paced co-operative titles like Overcooked and Fueled Up.

In No Heroes Here 2, you’ll be frantically staving off an invading force by building defences (cannons, gates, spikes and more), before crafting the ammunition needed to arm such defences. This is in an Overcooked-esque style, where you will be dashing around the place, likely getting in each others’ way!

You’ll be able to challenge yourself across 30 different castles, each with a different difficulty. Along the course of the game, you’ll unlock even cooler defences, concluding with the ultimate in incendiary weaponry – a baby dragon!

No Heroes Here 2 Key Features

  • RALLY YOUR FRIENDS AND HOLD YOUR GROUND!!! A group of non-adventurers is the last hope in defending the castle in this chaotic co-op tower defense game with roguelike features. With up to 4 players, your party must organize the castle, work as a team to craft ammo, and shoot at enemies to protect your kingdom!
  • PLAN, CRAFT AND DEFEND THE CASTLE! Use the power of teamwork to prosper through 15 rounds against hordes of brute invaders by preparing the castle stations, reinforcing your defenses each day and choosing the best curveballs for each scenario.
  • NO HEROES? NO PROBLEM, SAVE THE DAY ANYWAY! As you journey through this medieval realm, recruit more Non-Heroes to your ragtag band of castle defenders, including familiar faces like the Jester and the Princess, and non-heroic newcomers like the Alchemist and the Doctor. Just because you’re not a hero doesn’t mean that you can’t save the day!
  • THE KINGDOMS’ FATE IN YOUR HANDS! Protect three different kingdoms with each their own mechanics, enemies, and quirks. Defend your typical medieval kingdom Noobland, the freezing lands of Trollmeria and the castles overrun by ever-growing mushrooms at Fungaria.
  • A MEDIEVAL ARSENAL AT YOUR DISPOSAL! Play in 30 different castles, separated between easy, normal and hard difficulties. Select the kingdom and choose your weapon from cannons, slingshots and even a baby dragon ready to set hordes of enemies on fire!

Play Today!

No Heroes Here 2 can now be purchased for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC – the whole suite of platforms! Remember, this one has Xbox Play Anywhere support in case you need it.

Whilst we assemble our team to review No Heroes Here 2 on Xbox, you can find out more via the Xbox Store, where the game costs £16.24, unless you’re quick with the launch discount in place.

I'm an avid gamer who will play pretty much anything... but stick an open world or adventure game in front of me and I'm more than happy.
