The Xbox One pre-download feature is kicking into life once more as the hotly anticipated Overwatch prepares for release on the console.

Available to pre-order and pre-download right now on Xbox One, Over: Origins Edition will set you back a rather cool ÂŁ54.99, but if you’re desperate to get fighting on the battlefields of tomorrow, the cost should be irrelevant.

Whilst you obviously won’t be able to play the game until its release date (that’ll be the 25th April 2016), you’ll be safe in the knowledge that you’ll be one of the first in the world to experience the ultimate team based shooter.

The Origins Edition comes with a whole host of content as the full game is accompanied by a number of hero skins and your pre-order will see you grab the Noire Widowmaker Skin as well.

Game Description:

Pre-order Overwatch digitally and receive the special Noire skin for the deadly and ruthless Widowmaker. In addition all digital pre-orders, get 48 hour early access to the BETA! In addition upon game release you will get a unique dynamic theme. Clash on the battlefields of tomorrow and choose your hero from a diverse cast of soldiers, scientists, adventurers, and oddities. Bend time, defy physics, and unleash a dizzying array of extraordinary powers and weapons. Engage your enemies in iconic locations from around the globe in the ultimate team-based shooter. Take your place in Overwatch…the world needs heroes. Also includes a wealth of content for Overwatch and other games from Blizzard’s universes.

The Xbox One Games Store awaits!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
