Yep that's right, the Ultimate Edition of State of Decay 2 on Xbox One has now rocked up and you can get in on a bit of the survival experience nice and early - a good few days before the proper release at least.
Post-apocalyptic action MMO Crossout has hardly been short of new content since it arrived back in May 2017, but that doesn’t mean things are set to stop there, and with Update 0.9.0 just around the corner there is more content set to arrive and expand the world of Crossout even further.
Elex has set itself a high bar; it's a huge post-apocalyptic fantasy sci-fi open world role playing game, with lots of social interactions to let you choose your own path, and copious amounts of Dark Souls inspired combat to enjoy. It seems to be taking ideas and concepts from numerous games but sadly, this means it has no identity of its own. It gets lost in itself, trying to take the best elements from certain games and combining them into one.

When family and friends come round, the drinks are flowing and the chat grows tiresome, it’s usually time to venture to the board game cupboard. Now that the ‘Thundersnow’ has disappeared and we are hopefully over the worst of the winter, gamers are starting to rise from their slumber. For many this was their chance to re-visit Skyrim in the recently released Definitive Edition. Memories came flooding back as the hours ticked by, and once again we were all reminded why Skyrim was one of the greatest games of the last generation and will continue to be praised for many a year to come.
This got me thinking though, Fallout 4 recently finished releasing its DLC with the excellent Nuka-World add-on, and so what is next for that game? Are we expecting a re-release of Fallout 4 too when every man and his dog owns a 4K TV, or should it be left now, and work moved on to whatever Bethesda have planned next?
Gaming can be quite a tough hobby. After all, unless you’re lucky enough to have both an Xbox One and a PS4 sat beneath your TV, then at some point you’ve been forced to choose which games you’re going to want to play. There’s no denying that both consoles have their fair share of impressive exclusive titles, but with games constantly being split between the powers that be, it can put a real dampener on those looking to enjoy gaming for what it is. Whilst we could sit here all day and preach of how much better it would be to see all games available on all platforms, exclusive games are here to stay.
