It’s been in various Beta stages for some time, but now it finally looks like Paladins has arrived as a fully fledged Xbox One title.
Available to download right now as a free-to-play title, Paladins: Champions of the Realm is the latest title to come from SMITE developer Hi-Rez Studios. A team-based shooter, Paladins deals with plenty of strategic flair and focuses on a hugely deep amount of character customisation. The fast paced, fantasy setting will see you taking charge of Champions as you battle it out to the death, so whether you want to play as a sniper, a mech-riding goblin or even a jetpack clad dragon, you can.
A collectible card system holds everything together and these will be vital to your success, letting you amplify and augment each Champion’s core set of abilities, empowering their personalized playstyles.
As you would expect, there are a host of paid DLC packs available to help you out, and the Founders pack and various amounts of Paladins Crystals can all be purchased right now.
