For a long time, the legendarily awful Firefighters: Airport Fire Department was the most obscure simulation game we had experienced. Yet Parking World actually could take the cake.
That’s not to say the latter is bad, so read on to see if the wonderful world of car parks could indeed be captivating to the average gamer.

The Mostly Positive review base from Steam for Parking World can’t be wrong, so perhaps it is worth learning about this strange city-builder / simulation title as it launches onto Xbox.
Developed by Binary Impact and published by Aerosoft, Parking World puts you in charge of car travel, as you build the perfect parking garage for all the tired and weary drivers to make use of on their journey.
Parking spaces, customer toilets, and decorations are just a few things that must be erected if you are to rake in the cash, with the end goal of course being to produce a towering multi-story car park.
Now that’s a tourist attraction in itself!
Luckily, you aren’t expected to be a one-man army: as you hire workers to do the grunt work, your time will be freed up to micromanage the smaller elements of your parking empire. Of course, managing the rates you charge your users is a key aspect of any businessperson, so expect to be constantly changing this throughout the game – supply and demand, people!
Horses for Courses
Parking World features four different quest-givers, each with their own needs with regards to parking arrangements.
Festival organisers would love to see a more inconspicuous arrangement as to not deter their own customers, whereas bigwig entrepreneurs may in fact love the brutalist architecture a large multi-story benefits from.
