You may be able to get hold of a 4 player PC demo on Steam today, but all we care about is when a game will release on console – and today it has been confirmed that At Sundown will be arriving this Spring.
Due to hit Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch in the Spring of 2018, the top down shoot ’em up, At Sundown, will bring stealth based arena shooting for up to 4 players. Online and local deathmatch options will be the main draw and with the action taking place under the cover of darkness, it’ll only be when you shoot, dash or move under a light source when others will see you.
At Sundown promises to feature a wide variety of weapons for players to choose from including pistols, sniper rifles, shotguns and bladed weapons. Multiple maps, each with different light mechanics will play host to frenzied 4 player deathmatches, as players get to team up cooperatively to take down AI opponents or face off in head to head showdowns.
If that sounds good to you and you can’t wait for the Spring, then a free PC Steam demo is available right now. The demo gives players access to 4 out of the total of 11 launch weapons on a selection of map levels set in the Garden and Mansion, and can be played with keyboard or controller, whilst also providing the opportunity to play online in local matches or against bots.
“Mild Beast Games have a created an award-winning multiplayer formula that totally hooks players from the outset. At Sundown has been a real crowd pleaser at events like PAX, where it won players over with its superb 4 player party set up. We’re really excited to announce the games’ cross-platform launch, which underlines our commitment to bringing out the best in our indie partners,” commented Versus Evil General Manager Steve Escalante.
Keep an eye out for At Sundown coming to a console near you soon.
