Just as we see the best golf courses in the UK start to open up once more, 2K have dropped first details, and a confirmed release date, for the next evolution of the golfing genre, as PGA Tour 2K21 gears up to launch on Xbox One, PS4, Nintedo Switch, PC and Google Stadia.
Coming to all formats on August 21st 2020, PGA Tour 2K21 will see PGA Tour star Justin Thomas rocking the coverstar look, building the hype for a game that will deliver a roster of 11 additional PGA Tour pros, 15 licensed PGA Tour courses and equipment and gear from many licensed brands; adidas, Polo Ralph Lauren, Malbon Golf, Callaway Golf, Bridgestone Golf, TaylorMade Golf and more.
Marking the return of the great golfing games, PGA Tour 2K21 will hit out the long drives, and nail the simple birdies when it drops on console and PC in August 2020, with the full development process handled by those over at HB Games – they behind The Golf Club series of games. By utilising cutting edge tech, PGA Tour 2K21 promises to deliver the very best fairways, greens, bunkers, trees, lakes and ponds; bringing them to life as we play.
Further to that, those who wish to spend time tricking out their game can do so by utilising the Course Designer.

Thomas will be joined by 11 additional PGA TOUR pros, each of whom will present a challenge to players in PGA TOUR Career Mode as they compete to become a FedExCup Champion. As you would expect though, you’ll also be able to create and personalize your sessions with MyPLAYERs, bringing equipment and apparel from licensed brands.
And just to really hammer home what is required of a great golf game, ensuring that PGA Tour 2K21 is up there with the very best in the genre, it’ll also feature a broadcast-style presentation with state-of-the-art graphics, dynamic cutscenes and a seamless replay system, all anchored by the play-by-play commentary of renowned broadcaster Luke Elvy and analyst Rich Beem.

Whether you are a veteran stick-swinger or a newbie to the greens, PGA Tour 2K21 will cater for you, allowing you to take advantage of real-time tutorials, tips and shot suggestions, or being able to master your game with Pro Vision, Distance Control, Putt Preview and other innovations. And with the opportunity to partake in a game with mates, with social gaming at the core of the experience, allowing for both local and online matches, things get better still. Expect to find game modes such as Alt-Shot, Stroke Play, Skins and 4-Player Scramble on place. Oh, and Online Societies will encourage players to invite their squad to hit the clubhouse and run full seasons and tournaments with unique entry rules and requirements, as well as handicap and event settings.
