Kinetic Games, the creators of the acclaimed ghost hunting phenomenon Phasmophobia, are bringing their chilling co-op experience to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5/PSVR2 in Early Access/Game Preview form.

Already a massive hit on PC with over 20 million copies sold and overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam, Phasmophobia is now ready to scare a whole new audience on consoles.

Become a Paranormal Investigator

Step into the shoes of a ghost hunter and explore haunted locations, utilising an array of ghost-hunting equipment to gather evidence and identify the supernatural entities that lurk within.

With over 20 different ghost types, each with unique traits and behaviours, every investigation is a chilling new experience.

But just remember, that Game Preview tag means that this is a work in progress – it is not the finalised game. We’ll let you know how it works in a hands-on preview soon.

A Console Debut and a PC Update

The console release of Phasmophobia coincides with a major milestone for the game, celebrating its incredible success on PC and its dedicated community.

To mark the occasion, Kinetic Games is launching a Halloween Special event with community goal-oriented tasks that will unlock the Blood Moon weather and a new badge/trophy. The PC version is also receiving an update with performance improvements, bug fixes, and a new event board.

Developer Quote

“We are so happy to see Phasmophobia enter console early access” Stated Daniel Knight, CEO and Lead Developer at Kinetic Games “the community has been asking for console versions, and has waited a little while for it to happen. The development team at Kinetic Games have worked exceptionally hard to make this request a reality.”

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
